I did some work on my social security article tonight. I've been meaning to put some work into it but put it off. I've got the basic structure and arguments, just need to flesh it out and add references.
The basic idea is to convince people my age to support the president's social security reform initiative. Older people are a lost cause. No way in hell they are going to give up their "entitlement" for us. They bore the cost of raising us, so we need to foot the bill for their retirement. Screw that. It's not comparable. They raised us for 20 years and we have to pay for 30 or 40 years? Nevermind that they have had 40+ years to make non-social security preparations.
