I really like my G1 now. It took a few weeks to get used to the "chin". It was hard to adjust when texting and I was close to getting a Blackberry Curve instead. I'm glad I waited; I love my phone now. I'm not a programming junkie or one of those people that have to have a super nerdy phone with all types of doo dads. I was considering the iphone, but I think that besides the thickness and weight of the G1, it definitely kicks the iphone's butt. The status bar on top is by far my favorite thing about the phone. You don't have to exit anything to check a text or email. Sorry, I forgot I posted here.

We do not know when it will be sent out. Even after T-Mobile announces OTA updates, they do not go out at once. They are sent out randomly to each handset. How are you liking your G1 so far? I thought Cupcake was this type of social network within the android community...in the Market, it describes Cupcake Lite as a place to chat and meet new people. Is this going to be the same thing?? I'm excited to have a touchscreen keyboard, which eliminates the need to flip the phone open so much. It's nice to have a keyboard, but I can't help thinking that it's a part waiting to break from repeated use. Also, the ability to record video is going to be awesome.
