I work in a career and employment industry and one thing that we really look into before pooling in resources are their online presence and on things that are being said about them online...usually we try to search their full names online and whatever comes up, we take note of them from myspace accounts to multiply and etc...we usually look into the possibility of them having blogs and all...so i think one way to land a good job is to have a good online presence

But if nothing comes out, well we resort to the traditional way, review their resume and do a phone or personal interview...:)
